Tips

  • Take lots of photos so that the user has a smooth transition between spaces
  • Resize your photos before uploading, or take them at a lower resolution
  • Before uploading, make a new folder on your computer for your photo-site and copy your photos there
  • Use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer or equivalent to go through your photos as you upload. Upload in the order you see them, rather than trying to find all the photos in a particular photo-set.
  • If you want an overview of the location covered by your photo-site, take a photo of a map or a hand-drawn house plan.
  • Recommended screen size: 1024x768 or higher

Alpha version limitations

  • All photo-site photos and information can be read publicly
  • Only landscape photo-sites are currently supported, in these pixel sizes: 640x480 or 320x240
  • Groups, Comments and Tags not supported
  • Only a few phrases are localised
  • Let us know if any aspect of the viewer or designer does not work in your browser

Bugs/Changes

  • Orange rectangles are not in the expected tab order
  • In IE6 if you tab to an orange rectangle then Enter may go to the wrong photo, so use Space instead
ALPHA: All photo-sites are visible to everyone. Not all features available.
